OUR SPACES

  • The Captains Dining Room: Versatile & Private Event Space

    The Captains Dining Room is an intimate, elegant space perfect for a wide range of events, from intimate conferences and workshops to celebratory dinners and small weddings.

    Key Features & Inclusions:

    • Capacity: Seats a minimum of 6 people up to 56 guests for seated dinners or classes, with various setups available (Boardroom up to 40, Classroom up to 40, Theatre up to 40, U-shape up to 26).

    • Day Hire Rate: $300 includes private use from 8.30am - 4pm.

    • Inclusions:

      • Full AV Equipment: Wifi, projector and pull-up screen, microphone/speaker for presentations or conference calls.

      • White Board and pens.

      • Water and mints.

      • Dedicated onsite coordinator and servicing throughout the day.

      • Set up and pack down.

    Evening Hire (5pm onwards):

    • Monday - Thursday: $1500 (subject to availability).

    • Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Minimum spend of $3000 applies (assessed on a case-by-case basis).

    Booking: Minimum 48 hours notice for bookings.

  • A private space, perfect for your next team or private meeting, workshop or collaborative working hub.

    The Boardroom comes with a kitchenette, private bathroom, outdoor areas and attached accommodation if required.

    With all day natural light, the space is extremely flexible with its large boardroom table (8 people) and a break out space for less formal meetings. Enjoy full use of the outdoor garden space patio for breakout activity. We also have off street parking and with Stella Bull Park next door there is a community green space for you to use at your leisure.

  • Our front of bar space, situated in the main bar, is where all the fun happens.

    Perfect for groups that want to stand and conversate, it has a combination of bar leaners and stools and one larger low table.

    We can section an area of this space off to cater to your groups needs.

    CAPACITY | 60 people seated, 70-80 standing.

  • The Galley, situated at the rear of the main bar, is an intimate fire side space in the winter, and has access to our gin and garden bar in the summer.

    A wonderful space for dinner or lunch to celebrate a special occassion in a larger group. All tables are low with easy access.

  • Our outdoor gin and garden bar is a fan-favourite amongst our locals in the summer, offering an epic outdoor fire, bar leaners, lower tables and a private bar space.
    Perfect for pre or post wedding celebrations, Christmas parties, gatherings and lively standing functions, providing a backdrop to elevate any occasion.

    AVAILABLE | 7 days a week (weather dependent) 

    CAPACITY | Minimum of 40 pax to open the private bar. Maximum capacity of 100.

    FOOD OPTIONS | Platters, or our full gastro menu is available upon request dependent on the size of your group. For larger groups, we suggest a reduced menu.

    MINIMUM SPEND TO HIRE EXCLUSIVELY | $1000 (to open the private bar). otherwise enjoy the space as you please and order drinks and food inside.

 

TO EAT

Our menu’s in both the Gastro and Captain’s Dining Room are seasonal, and brimming with the best produce that our region has to offer.

Depending on the size of your group and your requirements, you may like to order al a carte off our menu’s. In some circumstances, when time is of the essence, or groups are a little larger, we can offer a reduced menu with a few items selected by you with your guests in mind. We offer platters, that contain a selection of easy eats from our gastro menu too.

TO DRINK

We are proud to offer a 100% local Wairarapa Wine List, and our drinks list is brimming with lots of other incredible local options. We also offer barrista coffee, and a tea and coffee station is available upon request.

ACCOMMODATION

Located in the heart of the Wairarapa, in the centre of Greytown and just 15 minutes from Martinborough Wine Village, The White Swan is the perfect place to stay.

We have 13 boutique suites and garden rooms available, with options for roll away, split or sofa beds to suit larger groups.

Our suites are located upstairs within the hotel. The suites are individually themed, providing a truly unique experience. Our garden rooms are offset from the road, each with its own courtyard, and doors out onto the oak trees and neighbouring park.
