
Monteith's Wild Food Challenge - 1st - 31st May 2025
We’re stoked to be part of the 2025 Monteith’s Wild Food Challenge — celebrating the best of the hunt, the harvest, and a bit of Swan flair.
Our chefs, teaming up with Wild Fiordland, have crafted the ultimate Kiwi classic: a Wapiti Venison Pie. Slow-cooked wild venison, bold black beer flavours, sticky jam, and Claireville Bakery pastry — it’s the classic pie, taken to wild new heights!
“I also pick up the pastry from our local Claireville Bakery on my way to work, and there’s something special in that, locals supporting locals, doing good things” Tom says.
